You will be kept up to date on your progress, and you must pass your final in-car test with a score of 70% to receive a certificate of completion.
Everyone progresses at their own pace. The average amount of time students need to learn to drive is ten hours of in-car training. If you don't have time to practise between lessons or haven't had much practise driving before, you may need more than ten hours.
The instructors work hard with each student to ensure they meet Ministry Standards and are confident enough to pass the G2 test after ten hours of in-car lessons. If your instructor believes you are not ready, they will not pass you until they believe you will be safe on the road.
Your instructor will contact you via email to begin in-car training, and you will also be notified once you log in to this online course. Your main page displays all of your in-car lessons.
